Simbisa Brands Limited (Zimbabwe) currently operates 459 QSR restaurants in 9 countries across Africa with future ambitions of further expansion across the region. The name “Simbisa” is a Shona word that embodies a rally for strength and power to an object and represents what the business and its people stand for; the endeavour to create and sustain a strong and empowered brand that is recognised across all regions.
Simbisa needed a new website as to coincide with being listed on the Zimbabwe stock exchange. This site needed to talk to their investors and showcase many of the food brands that live under the Simbisa brand such as Nando’s, Chicken Inn and Galito’s.
To reflect their brand in the right way, Dave (our digital guy) worked with the team to understand their communication objectives, what they wanted to say and to who. We carried out a content audit of their current site and proposed a new site structure along with supporting wireframes and UX designs.
Simbisa is seeing real ROI with their investor audience and has seen a 64% growth in revenue to US$ 108,65 m for Half Year 2019.Simbisa Brands
