Stephen Constantine developed YouMap to combat political issues, hoping to amplify the voice of those leading social change and add color to the stories people should be hearing. The solution was to provide a Human Atlas— a map that could be used as a digital playground for the masses. In this digital playground, every post is mapped and can be filtered by channels with patented emoji technology helping to tell a story as quickly and vividly as possible.

The brief
Stephen came to us with the need to launch his app and profile in the global market. No mean feat. We worked with Stephen and selected core markets to target, which were the US and Europe, to begin with. Based on previous activity and conversations, the main objectives were:

Drive app downloads
Secure funding
Raise brand awareness
Enhance Stephen’s profile

Since launching in July 2017, YouMap has had several critical PR successes with Entrepreneur, The Next Web, and The Fox Magazine. We also formalized activity with a consistent program of earned media: a combination of press releases, opinion-led editorials, and social media campaigns – all designed to achieve a single goal.
